Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi monitored the Christmas Creative Market at Taman Lapangan Banteng and Christmas Carol at Anjungan Sarinah, Central Jakarta.

Related with New Year's eve celebration, he continued, Jakarta Provincial Government has prepared various events such as Jejaki Kota Tua on December 31 to trace the beginnings of the founding of Jakarta, starting from the Kota Tua to several other places.
Then there will be Semarak Jakarta Mendunia in the evening. Several events have been also prepared such as Jakarta melody and so on.
"We prepare several spots for various genres. It will be around Thamrin, Sudirman and the center is in HI Roundabout. Next are at Monas, Lapangan Banteng, TMII, Ancol, Kota Tua, and offices of mayors as well as Seribu Island Regent," he continued.
Teguh also mentioned that Bentang Harapan event will also be provided for residents to write their hope for Jakarta.
Moreover, Jakarta Provincial Government will also hold grand launching of 5 centuries of Jakarta.
"An reflection event will be held at Monas on December 30 evening. Hopefully about 10,000 residents will participate it," he hoped.
Teguh ensured that public security and order during the Christmas and New Year celebrations would be maintained.
Jakarta Provincial Government has held meeting to prepare all Regional Working Units.
"We have Transportation Agency, Satpol PP, BPBD, ambulance to secure the celebration as well as anticipate disaster. This is part of national security during Christmas and New Year celebration," he explained.
